The Hardin Triad Planetary Polisher is a rugged, planetary powered tool designed to produce a flat, swirl free finish on counter tops, floors, walls, stone, and steps. The unit will grind, hone, polish, and clean concrete, terrazzo, marble, and granite surfaces using diamond abrasives.
Dust collection shroud with flush grinding door allows dust collection for flush edge grinding. It features a spring-loaded suspension system that keeps the shroud flush to the surface during movement and compensates for blade wear. The shroud has a removable edge piece for surface work flush to edges or other objects. It also has soft brushes that help contain the dust and allow for smooth movement over the work surface. The outside diameter of the extraction port will work with most standard vacuum hose systems. The 110 volt Hardin1/2 inch radius shaping and polishing profile package is the ideal combination of tools used to produce a 1/2 inch radius decorative edge on tile, granite and concrete counter tops and other natural stone and hard surfaces 1/2 inch in thickness or greater. This kit includes a Hardin 4 inch variable speed wet polisher, 1/2 inch radius vacuum brazed diamond profile wheel and a complete set of 4 inch premium diamond polishing pads. The polishing pad set includes 1 each 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, and 3000 grit polishing pads. This set also includes the rubber backer pad needed to attach the diamond pads to the polisher. The included 1/2 inch radius vacuum brazed profile wheel is designed to produce a 1/2 inch radius on natural or engineered stone and concrete. Very simple to use, the wheel screws directly on this tool. A guide on the top of the bit rides on the surface of the stone and a lower bearing controls the depth of cut for consistent shaping.
